Thermal Power

The thermal power plants, which are the main supply sources of energy to the Tokyo metropolitan area, are famous for their world class energy efficiency. TEPSCO has for many years been supporting the operations and maintenance for these plants.

We have been engaged in many thermal power plant projects worldwide, including in Asian countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia; Middle Eastern countries li ke Iraq; CIS and Caucasian countries like Azerbaijan, Armenia and Uzbekistan; Eastern European countries like Serbia and Romania; and African countries like Mozambique.

We cover all stages of projects from feasibility studies, basic and detailed designs, to support for bidding, and design/construction supervision. TEPSCO is also able to support owners for the stable supply of electric power and contribute to the stabilization of operation cost of thermal power plants.
