Promoting ZEB/ZEH construction and design support
Japan is working to combat global warming with the goal of achieving carbon neutrality, which would
reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2050. As part of this initiative, targets have been set
to reduce energy-related CO2 emissions in office buildings, commercial facilities, and other buildings. As
such, the spread of ZEBs, which can significantly reduce energy consumption in buildings, is required to
achieve carbon neutrality.
We design buildings ranging from power plants and substations to general office buildings and are
highly conscious of energy conservation. In addition to designing, we also provide energy consulting
services, such as surveys and tuning. Additionally, we have experience in introducing renewable energy
sources, such as solar and wind power generation, from the building level to large-scale facilities.
As a comprehensive design firm, we promote ZEB by designing buildings that integrate various elements
such as design, structure, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment.

*We are registered and publicized as a “ZEB Planner,” a business that provides consultation services for
the realization of ZEB and for the energy efficient design of buildings and facilities using the ZEB
Design Guidelines as well as our own extensive knowledge and expertise in designing ZEB and
energy-efficient buildings.

ZEH condominiums
ZEB(Net Zero Energy Building):
A building that aims to achieve a
comfortable indoor environment while reducing the annual primary energy balance consumed in the building
to zero.
ZEH(Net Zero Energy House):
A house that aims to achieve an annual
primary energy consumption balance of zero by significantly improving the insulation performance of the
exterior skin and introducing highly efficient equipment systems to achieve substantial energy savings
while maintaining the quality of the indoor environment. Additionally, renewable energy sources are
introduced to cover any remaining energy consumption.
