Remote monitoring sensors developed for lattice tower managersDELI-FACT®
DELI-FACT® replaces all measurement tasks that customers performed on site with a monitoring system and provides them with the measurement data.

Visualization of the risks and values of invisible structures undergroundSeismic Risk Assessment Service for Buried Linear Structures
The extent of damage caused by the largest earthquake expected to occur during the in-service period of structure is expressed as a percentage of the structure’s reconstruction cost (the total cost to rebuild all parts of the structure at once).

Countermeasures against tsunamis and flooding for small-scale outdoor storage tanksTsunami and Flood Countermeasures for Small Oil Tanks Using CFRP
It has now become possible to drastically improve tsunami and flood resistance performance at a low cost by employing a surface constraint method using CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic). We believe it will play a very important role for disaster prevention.
-
Simulation of Countermeasures against Heatstroke
Jointly with Kobe University and the Integrated Engineering System Research and Development Partnership, we developed a system for use as countermeasures against heatstroke; the system calculates the temperature, wind velocity, and wet-bulb globe temperature at a single location in a short amount of time (about 1 day) by using MSSG, which was developed by the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC).

Total coordination capabilities cultivated under an electric power companyElectrical System Design
As a member of the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) group, we are involved in the design of electrical facilities for special buildings such as electric power facilities and general buildings.
-
Proper introduction and operation of BCP is key to swift recovery after disastersSeismic and Deterioration Diagnosis
Disasters can cause irreparable losses to businesses, such as damage to production lines and office buildings, resulting in difficulties with business continuity and delivery delays that can erode customers’ trust.
-
System to improve seismic resistance of stacksPantograph Damper
We directed our attention towards the deformation mode of the main posts in the lower section of the steel tower.
-
Vibration control system to improve seismic resistance of steel towersVertical Shear Links
Our vibration control system, which consists of arm parts and vibration control dampers, effectively reduces swaying by exerting a damping effect on the bending deformation of tower structures.
-
Visualization of disaster countermeasures by a series of analytic simulationsPractical application of integrated earthquake simulations
The following is an application of the Integrated Earthquake Simulator (IES) targeted at an actual city.

Youth paper prize was received at the World Conference on Earthquake Engineering in 2021Verification of 3D coupled analysis of ground and foundation
In urgent need of assuming severe seismic motion, we understand the behavior of a structure during an earthquake by making a 3D model of a facility or a structure that may be subjected to the influence of liquefaction in a faithful manner to the actual shape.
-
3D liquefaction analysis of block scale
In recent years, for the purpose of assuming earthquake damage to an entire city and traffic network and considering countermeasures, the seismic response for the wide area of a city block and city scale has been attempted.

Slope failure analysis with Distinct Element Method (DEM)
Detailed failure processes of a mountain slope can be calculated when traced with the Distinct Element Method.
