Using 3D-CAD to study layouts for ducts, piping, cable racks, and other equipment

When designing facilities that involve complex machinery rooms with interconnected components such as piping, ducts, and cable racks, we use 3D-CAD technology from the initial design stage to conduct preliminary studies. This helps to minimize design rework and potential interference with surrounding structures, piping, etc., during the construction process. By representing equipment and piping in three dimensions, it becomes easier to understand equipment design and identify potential conflicts.

From 3D-CAD to BIM design

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a method of constructing buildings in 3D space that centralizes planning, design, construction, and maintenance information. We make the most of 3D-CAD models by linking them to BIM design in necessary projects, and use this data to provide assistance in the maintenance and management of facilities.
