| |Ground motion estimation, liquefaction prediction and earthquake scenario development| |
| The system displays earthquake map data from geographical information system (GIS), intensity of ground shaking due to an earthquake (maximum acceleration, JMA intensity, etc.) and damage of facilities. Intelligible seismic risk information can be visually provided to develop the countermeasures. |
| *) JMA means Japan Meteorologocal Agency. |
| Features |
The system can:

| Basic Functions |
| 1.Display of the Earthquake Information It can display earthquake catalogue and active fault information and edit the source fault models. |
2.Peak Ground Acceleration The peak ground acceleration (PGA) can be estimated considering the amplification effects of surface soil after estimating the maximum acceleration at bedrock by attenuation relationship. |
3.Response Spectrum The acceleration response spectrum of bedrock by attenuation relationship and that of ground surface can be estimated considering the amplification effects of surface soil. |

| 4.Distribution of JMA intensity The JMA intensity can be calculated based on the acceleration response spectrum. |
5.Liquefaction Potential The liquefaction potential can be estimated by comparing the dynamic shear strength with the stress evaluated from SI value and PGA. |
6.Structural Damage The damage of structures can be estimated based on the PGA and/or JMA intensity. |

| Extended Functions |
| 1.Evacuation and Rescue Management It can display the evacuation area and the rescue materials such as foods, water and fire distinguisher upon the map. |
2.Route Search It can searche the optimal route for evacuation and transportation of rescue materials considering fire area and road damage, etc. |
3.Connection with Sensors It collects the observation data automatically in real time, and provides feedback to damage estimation. |
