President |
Our company, TEPSCO, was established in 1960 with the primary purpose of "design and construction supervision for civil and architecture". In 1961, "design and construction supervision for electrical facilities" was added to this purpose. In 1963, our business was expanded to overseas services, the first of which was Rehabilitation of Kothagudem Thermal Power Station, India. Since its establishment, TEPSCO has provided planning, survey, design, and construction supervision services in domestic and overseas electrical facilities for more than 45 years as an affiliated company of Tokyo Electric Power Co., Ltd. In this new age, serious and complicated problems surround our society, for example, global issues such as destabilization of the energy supply structure and serious environmental deterioration, and domestic issues such as declining economic growth due to the aging of society and depopulation. We have to work towards "a triangle of objectives", i.e. stable economic growth, conservation of our irreplaceable environment, and securing of energy supply. At the same time, we have to attain a simultaneous pursuit of both winning amidst stiff market competition and securing safety and quality. "Sustainable" society cannot be realized unless these tasks are solved in a reasonable and well balanced manner. We would like to contribute actively to the realization of "sustainable" society through providing our technical know how, knowledge, and experiences to you. Our company acting as a general consultant, can comprehensively provide one stop services for the social infrastructure, from planning to maintenance.
